Root Kaos v38 Camera Issues

When I try to use the camera it comes up for a second, freezes, then force closes. I flashed v38 from v36, didn't wipe anything, is that a problem to skip v37? Any helpful tips?

Have you tried flashing v38 with Conaps CFS v6...this is supposed to help with the camera issues as well as battery drainage.

try changing the focus from "auto" to "touch".

Unforutnately, as much as I loved Koas's ROM, the never-ending camera issues are why I finally had to move on....

I tried all the fixes. Turn off AutoFocus, different gallery, etc....

Nonsensikal v10.8.1

Other than the phone, the camera is most important to me...

I know it's more hardware based than anything (these phones are finicky), but Nonsensikal seems to work best on my phone for now

in most cases the camera issue is a simple fix.

for v38, flash CFS v6, also, extract camera from the original ROM and remove the one you already have installed, then install the one from the ROM manually. This tends to fix the camera issue. Good luck.
