My buddy gave me a bricked Optimus C. The only mode I can enter is emergency mode [vol down + return]. I've already tried updating with the LG update tool but the phones firmware and model aren't detected and update fails. I've moved on to manually updating/restoring the phone with the KDZ firmware application. Following the guides for many other LG phones, I'm now stuck with finding the firmware update file. I've tried all google search combinations and manually poking around the LG site but still no .kdz for the LW690. Can anyone point me in the direction or offer any insight to my problem.
