Ive seen multiple threads here asking on how to root the Droid Razr. Lets use the search button first before posting a new thread that might be the same below.

Hello Biotic. I don't blame you for reacting to redundancy in queries about rooting in the forum.
But if we were to successfully eliminate that, similar questions or requests for assistance, these forums would thin out and remove helpers like you and Staff like us the opportunity to welcome the questioners and offer them as much as we can (links, direct answers to their questions, etc).
The forums are kept clean. Repeated concerns don't dirty the forums at all. What "dirt" exists is spam, filthy language, alienating and/or making newer members feel "wrong" or unwelcome, etc. So Staff is here to help members keep the place clean by removing or reporting such stuff.

Let's get the "root guides" updated. Right now they are essentially useless and aren't even nearly correct for this device. People who DO search and find the stickies find them to be useless because the information in them is completely ass-backwards and, in most cases, wrong.

*We need a updated root guide for both ics and jellybean.
*We need a guide on safestrap for both 3.04(ICS) and 3.11(JB) "Mine kinda collected dirt and sank to the bottom"
*And the rom category and warnings need updated
*GSM patch for custom roms for GSM users link
As far as ik, im the only droid razr dev here at phandroid... That post here anyways...
I suggest putting in a request to clean up guides here.
