Keep kies-transferred photos in folders

Lurker
Hey guys! Long-time lurker here.

I just recently started using kies on my Samsung GSIII to sync photos and music. When I did a sync of my photos (all 4071!) it did not sync their parent folders. In other words, I'm now stuck with one folder of 4000 and some odd pictures. Very, very difficult to find what you're looking for without them organized into folders. Anyway I can fix this?

Also, when you have it set to sync photos, does it only sync photos from the computer to the phone? I was hoping it would do both directions, but I can't find where photos from the phone would be on the computer. Anyone know how this can be done?

i tried kies on my tablet & hated it. I use sync me. it's much more customizable and maintains the directory structure. can be set to run at certain intervals and wake up the computer too. i used it to sync my note 3 when i got it and i LOVE it
