Keep same plan with new phone?

I'm on a special unlimited $50 plan Metro had early this year (equivalent to the current $60 plan), I'm thinking about upgrading my phone and wondering if the plan can be directly transferred to the new phone.

Good question and I too would like to know the answer. my wife has the $30 promo plan so... same question for both plans.

You could call or email Metro and ask.

The $50 unlimited plan is transferable as long as you are switching from your current Metro branded LTE phone to another Metro branded LTE phone. If you switch to a non-Metro device (i.e. BYOD) you lose the promotional plan and can't get it back even if you switch back to another Metro phone later.
