Root Keeping Root, Restoring to Factory 2.2?

Just picked up a DX. Want to sell the droid, as rooted. I currently have SS installed but its been buggy. Want to just go to a stock ROM.

Where does one find such a stock rom?

If you have rom manager they have stock roms in there.

I wouldn't trust the stock roms in rom manager to remove all traces of root. I have a guide at my site that will do it, though.

Thanks for posting that link. I will need to do this when I return my droid to verizon when I upgrade to a new phone at some point.

Do these just get flashed in clockwork?

I'm assuming I want this one.. What is difference between the two?

I am assuming that flashing with Clockwork is how you would install these. I have the 2.2.2 update, and waiting to find time to install it.

I would stick with the Odexed version...

Oops, my bad about unrooting.

Yes, you can flash either one of those easily with clockwork. The difference is the deodexed one will be smaller and easier to apply a theme to as the indexed one will have allot of corresponding .odex files to go with some of the .apk (application) files.
