KERNELS are here!!!

Well it's a modified stock kernel, but it's a kernel none the less. ;)

This one is by freeza very talented and highly respected dev.

OP over at XDA:

[Kernel]7/13/12 StockMOD 1.22.651.3 CoreDuo/ScreenOff Script/MemManagement/DimLights

Waiting for permission to post up a quote of the OP by freeza.:)

This one is not overclockable, it's still stock. HTC needs to get off their ar...ahem...just release the source code.
He's modified the ramdisk settings and made some init.d tweaks, etc. Read his OP, you'll get the idea.

This is flashable through recovery, so please make sure you NANDroid prior to flashing anything!!

Wipe dalvik and cache partition and flash away!!

Suppose I don't like this, where can I find a copy of the stock kernel?

The dev community's collection is too young for that at present.

Make a nandroid backup in recovery before trying this, and should you not like this, restore your nandroid backup to remove this.

Before long, you'll have less to do for the same results - but not just yet.

Yeah, I posted that, kept reading, answered my own question, then changed my post to try to save face. You were just too fast, however...

I have noticed things are a bit... Perkier on the tweaked kernel. I'm pleased, though tomorrow will show what Kettering both cores on does to my battery.
