Root Kernel EXT2 OC @796Mhz Plus Patches

The limit omg setcpu is 720 above that it freezes.

And also great news my brother also has a behold 2 but uses his iphone since be had the files for oc kernel I was able to flash it.

Currently I can't set setcpu above 720. But I get very high speeds. My current fastest is 621 ! Yippee!

CAn you reupload the file.....and tell me what the limit is? and also if you can send me a picture of it??

THANKS

Reupload which file? The top is 796 but some phones can't handle it. Mine is set at 748 with no problems, but freezes if I go above that. What do you need a picture of? Sorry, just vague questions...or I'm being slow today. :p

Sorry for demanding too much. I meant the file for odin to flash because the link is down. And by picture i mean the picture of the rom so i can see if i should switch from bearsfan58 rom to this

THANK YOU

That's weird....... there is probably a file that needs changing. Hmmmm

I hope eugene starts working on behold 2 stuff..... I'm dying of patience.

relax. it'll be done when he wants it to be done. he's already gettin annoyed that people are asking him on twitter. just let the man do what he can, he's only a normal human being.

I was wondering what the spectrum of time would be for releasing this 2.2.1 Custon ROM Eugene has been working on? I can wait, no problem. But I was wondering how long it will take, max? Anyone have an idea?

We were instructed that there was no expected release date. Eugene lost all data on BH2 when his hard drive crashed so your gonna need a lot of patience. Eugene has gotten his hard drive back but is still finishing past work. but with a dev like Eugene we will probably get 2.2.1 on BH2 its already been tested but still has some issues. But it works!

my behold 2 is a year old and stock out of the box. i'd like upgrade to 2.2, overclock and tether but i don't know where to start... i am just now reading about rooting and ROMs, yeah i'm luddite, and i'm on a mac. any help is much appreciated.

I have a mac also. You will need windows to run the main program for flashing ROMs, ODIN. I use Parallels desktop with XP installed. So that and doing some reading in these forums are your main challenges.

Good Luck

John have you been having problems with the ext2 rom lately? sometimes the screen freezes and i when i reestart it it doesnt work making me have to reset it. i also have instances when the phone resets all my settings after a restart. it also had force close issues on the phone whenver i called i lost signal and force close issues peristed. the only to fix to these problems was to reflash the whole rom using the built in recovery. i was just wondering if you have these problems somewhat as well. i believe it is the ext2 rom that causes these problems im not sure if eugene fixed them and reposted a new ext2 rom tell me if you see one anywhere and whther its compatible or not.

Thank so much, downloading and installing it in my Behold II with Behold II OTA 1.6 Tweaked v3 rom.
Should I just PDA via ODIN, or how should I do it? Sorry I am still newbe
Thank you

Yea, I've had the issue also a few times, but it's worth the speeds. I have everything backed up on a daily basis so no worries for me. That's why I don't mind beta testing. ;)
