Root Kernel for MIUI ICS?

I have heard that you need to have a kernel with HWA for ICS. What kernels have this and will work with the newest MUIU ROM?

Thanks in advance

Well there are 2 MIUI ics ROMS out there.

For one you need a non-HWA kernel, for the other you need a HWA kernel.

Either way you want to go with the mason kernel, so which version of MIUI do you have? (link?)

Current Builds:

Mason G series:
Suitable for non hardware accelerated roms, including gingerbread AOSP roms. Works on things like Decks GB 1.3d, and AOKP ICS.

I misspoke.

FSO= file synchronization off. so what I meant by non-fso was that it had file synchronization.

I would go with it, it'll speed up your system just make sure you nandroid

I saw the disclaimer, I'm not that risky, lol. What about the legacy kernels he has (.12 nonsbc)? They have file synchronization and they were used on non-HWA kernels and worked. You think those are okay?

Theres a disclaimer on everything you flash :p. As long as you have a nandroid it wont be an issue.

Feel free to flash the legacy version.

Question: Why don't you want SBC?

I posted it a while ago but I read somewhere about degrading the batteries, even though they are extremely cheap I just don't want to by something that isn't broke, lol

So far I'm loving the .12 version of the Mason G series legacy kernel. I have it OC to 1036 (not to set on boot lol) on InteractiveX and it's not lagging at all.

What you see is what you get for now. Don't be afraid of SBC. But he's been putting a lot of time into the Sense version he's working on. And life too I'm sure...

I am not sure where I downloaded it...When I downloaded it the file name was "MIUIANDROID" if that helps. I think it is a relatively new one...where can I download the mason kernel?

I'm using the new mason kernel (as stated above) and my keyboard is a little laggy since this morning. Is there a way to speed up the phone or get rid of the lag? I've been testing different governors with pretty much the same results.

I dont know if he fixed lulzactive or not but until I hear otherwise dont use it. It borks all of the other governors.

Wheatley is supposed to be the next big thing for everyone

I only used ones that I was previously aware of (interactive(X), ondemand(X), smartass(V2), etc) I didn't know what intellidemand, savagedzen (i'm assuming it's based of the kernel by the same name?), minmax, lulzactive, or lazy were so I stayed away from them.
