Here are my builds of my spectrum kernel, not to many features at the start but will add lots more later on

Based off of CM's kernel tree
Built with GCC 4.6 toolchain
CPU OC'ing to 1674mhz
GPU OC'ing 3D:300mhz 2D:268mhz
GZIP compression
User adjustable Voltages
Power Collapse in standby (also for idle)
KSM Patches
LOAD_FREQ (4*HZ+61) avoids loadavg more
User FSYNC Control
GOVERNORS: Interactive, Powersave, Performance, SmartassV2, Lulzactive, Ondemand (default)
I/O SCHEDULERS: Deadline, Noop, CFQ, SIO or Simple (default)
TCP Congestions: westwood, cubic, reno, more...

1. Download latest kernel .zip file
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Flash zip
4. Reboot

No problem. I posted a quick question for you on GitHub also.

I sent you a pull request for overclocking. All you will have to do if you merge it is enable the faster frequency tables and adjust the voltages/frequencies to your liking.

You can only do so much of that kernel-side. I would say that 80% of battery savings come from the way you use your phone and the settings you have in the rom.

Just flashed. I'll report back with what I see.

Looking good so far. Standby battery is about the same. Still testing to see how it does when in use.

Hmm a recent one I just built with the GPU overclock doesn't seem to boot up, but builds fine I might have to look those files over and see if they got merged in correctly

It doesn't seem to go into deep sleep as often or as fast as the stock kernel. I've had this installed about 24 hours and only about half of that is showing as deep sleep. I'm still looking into the root cause though.

well forked from cm's cm-10.1, but i was thinking if he had some commits that fix the deep sleep issue. i could merge it over

Those fixes have been merged. It might be something else though. My phone was showing a lot of userspace wakelocks but didn't say what caused them.

Well I lied, after about an hour or so it seems to go back to 384mhz
