What are you tweaking? up_threshold;/powersave_bias/sampling_rate?

He says not to mix with other tweaks.. I thought it came pretty much preset

EDIT:: trying it now on slim bean..interested to see if it impacts by 3g and battery life

The only thing im having issues with it my upload speed did go down but my download speed went from 7-8 to well over 10-11(I have great 4g speeds here in Portland)

And yes changed : echo "1" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/powersave_bias;
echo "0" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/powersave_bias;

And :echo "150000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate;

I have done: echo "70" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold; change for the battery life..so far it seems the 3g seems more responsive but speedtest.net doesn't rate it any higher.. I can notice some performance enhancement tho in the system itself..

EDIT: it did add 1000 score points on my antutu benchmark

I'm getting a new battery ( came today in the mail) so my evaluation won't really be valid about if this helps battery life or not. either way..good find!!

Very cool, I have been checking the battery and for over 4 hrs and still at 85%
set echo "180000"> /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate; and its running great, my benches are hitting 11000 now(shooting for 12000) lol so a little more tweaking lmao.....;)

Awesome, yeh I'm more worried about battery life but of course enjoy performance.

I just read that the creator of this Kernal has just joined the Slim Bean team so I imagine this lightning zap will be included in the next release of slim and optimized so I'm def looking forward to that

Yep, its great now and if he putting it in his next release that would be extremely cool as the rom really rocks now lol....:D

Well been running this now for a few days and have notice a big difference in my battery life and performance. Little snapper, download speeds are great, cant what till he hits phase 4 and gets the OC in it lol......:D

To make things simple I have slimbean. Will this work?

Yes it will, the dev at one point had already incorporated it in the rom, just check about phone in settings and it should say in the description something like LZ3 or if its been updated LZ4, but it can be installed on any AOSP rom....:)

I flashed it on but it seems to have slightly changed my fonts or something. When I look on facebook the letters look grainy, not as sharp looking.

You may have to change your DPI setting which is easy enought to do in settings.....;)

This kernel is awesome. I was running lz2, but this underclocks way better. I don't exaggerate stuff. I ran strong for about 13 hours with some heavy usage (3g 4g Wi-Fi a lot of chess and texting, then some Google maps and Google now running in the background.

I did the -50 uv across the board running at 1000mhz with on-demand and noop and the battery instead of performance hack. Never felt any lag whatsoever.

Color me impressed. This with the latest DU is zing!

Now if I could just have my old aosp keyboard inverted I would be a happy clam. For some reason when I push it to system apps and it's corresponding library, it shows and works except for Swype function :(

I wish AOSP roms wouldn't make my speaker phone mic not work :/ I remember how good this kernal was when it first came out, can't imagine how it has evolved.

Ok then you wil need to reinstall Slims Gapps :)

I tried it again and reinstalled gapps and then after that it would not let me update any apps. They all come back with an error. So back to before again. That should be incorporated in a new update of slimbean or something..... Its annoying

One thing about slims roms is and I know it maybe a pain, you have to flash the correct gapps for the version your on..........;)
