Kernel questions.

If I wanted to install a custom rom, such as Wild for the Night, which comes with the Gb27 kernel, would my phone work better, worse, or not at all if I use the GC01 source repack instead?

Wild for the Night is a CM ROM. It does not come with GB27 kernel, nor does it work with the JB modems. It is not a Touch-Wiz ROM.

I was thinking of touched by gs3/gs4,but the same question applies. Will roms that use the gb27 kernel work with the gc01kernel?

i dont know however roms that are gc01 are very buggy with gb27 repack

Are you referring to the older GB27 repack?

Well I would use the the GB27 kernel with repack version 0.1.0 for that ROM. the newer versions have some bugs they haven't worked out yet

Right on. Thank you guys for clearing that up. I have just read a lot about how the kernels are all basically identical now that source has been released. Thought I would get a little insight as to what exactly that means.
