Help Kevo ? and ZTE ZMAX?

i have the zte zmax 970 rooted i installed the blisspop ROM on it 5.1.1 instead of butternoob like i had before so that i could download the kevo app for my house yet it still does not work even tho i have Bluetooth 4.0 and the right software which would be lolipop 5.0 < i was wondering what i can do about this if anyone else knows / has encountered this issue thank you very much for you help

1) that mechanical lock cylinder is defective to forced entry in under 15 seconds.
2) If you insist, I would try Broken-OS it's the most stable.

Lol I didn't even know there was any such thing as a "smart lock" for home use.
In addition to possible defects in the design of the lock itself, it doesn't seem like a particularly good idea to have a rooted phone to use as a "key" since I imagine someone with basic knowledge of how to use root & or a custom recovery could figure out a way to circumvent lock screen security as well. This could possibly pose a serious problem if your phone is lost or stolen. I'm basing this off the fact that someone could make a twrp backup, do a factory reset, then use an app like titanium backup to restore parts of that backup like the kevo app along with its data and your Google/email accounts as well. This is all theoretical of course but definitely seems very possible. I am not a developer and have absolutely no idea how to hack anything but I'm pretty sure if I got my hands on a rooted phone with a custom recovery installed that was set up to use as a "key" for a "smart lock" that it would be pretty easy to get past the lock screen security and use your phone to open any lock that it is set up to work with.

Like I said this is all theoretical and I could be wrong... It's just something to consider.

Those are great points Master Chief. But, why go through the hassle when the weakest link is the lock cylinder itself?

Point taken. My point was that even if the lock didn't have that flaw there would be plenty of other ways to get it open without using physical force.
Lol wow I just watched that video and that lock is probably the biggest P.O.S I've ever seen. A 10yr old could destroy and open that thing. Give me my flathead screwdriver, small wrench, and 20 to 40 seconds and that thing will be opened and destroyed.
