Help Key board lag, I need help with this one...

I have the paid version ginger bread keyboard from the market, it's really starting to lag...

I don't like the stock keyboard due to all the buttons I do not use on it making it very confusing.

Is there another keyboard that is snappier?

Or Am I going to have to root this phone and get rid of the sense U.I.?

I agree with Leroy. The ICS keyboard is the shiet. I had swiftkey but didn't dig it..
