Help Keyboard and Swype

Hi, when I set "Samsung Keyboard" as the default keyboard and then swype, the accuracy is very poor. When I choose "Swype" as the default, the accuracy is much better, however the keyboard layout does not include the microphone and some other options.

Any thoughts on improving the accuracy when swyping with the Samsung Keyboard as I like its layout better.

There is an option to include the microphone to the Swype keyboard. Even the little flame on the right if you don't have Dragon gov(I think that's what the add on is called) installed.

Okay I'm remembering from the old version from my old phone as I didn't update that (and I've never turned it on). Now it is the key to the left of the enter key, that's the Mic key now.

My keyboard is virtually identical, except instead of the "microphone" and "done" keys on the bottom right, I have an enter key (a key with a picture of an arrow pointing down and to the left.")????

There may be a setting in Swype to update it.
The other thing I think you may need, is the app "google search" so that you can use voice commands. I am trying to remember if it was "google search" or not...
What version of swype do you have? Mine is v 1.3.3.9783

Interesting that under the help area "How to swype", there is a section on "Speak" and it says you cans peak to enter text", but it doesn't tell you how to add the otpion.

My version is 1.2.3.8848. When I click on Updates, it says to "Please check back again for available updates." I wonder how I can update this?

I did find a download for the Swype beta version 1.4 but I just lost it...computer crashed..did a restart and I will find it again for ya. Just making sure that it's what we/you need/want....
It appeared that in order to download it, you have to visit the site via your phone's browser and download it...
So stand by while my stupid computer decides to behave

I tried to download it via computer and it said I was not on an android device....so it appears that you need to visit that site with your phone....
Check it out if you want to and then decide if you want to try that or not.

Thanks, I've downloaded the 1.4 and that has the speaking option. (The button looks like a flame rather than a microphone.) Here's another link for the update: Swype | Get Swype. Thanks so much for your help!!!!!
