Keyboard app????????????????

i just downloaded the go keyboard app that i and the skin that i want to use on my phone and i followed all of the instructions and set it up but i can not get it to start working on my phone... is there something that i am missing cause the original keyboard is the only thing that is coming up..

First thing, enable the new keyboard in the Language & Keyboard settings via the checkbox, next when you at a point of entering new text via a textbox. You must press and hold at the textbox untill a popup menu box comes up, it will ask you 'Input Method', you then select your new keyboard.
