I'm running te Basix ROM, and so far so good, only a few minor issues, but I have a question about the backlighting on the keyboard. Is there a way to make it turn on everytime I open the keyboard? I know it'll use a bit more battery, but I'm ok with that, since it makes it a LOT easier to see the keys for me.

Help Keyboard backlighting??

Yes there is, you need to turn off auto backlight for it turn on everytime you slide it out because when there is light the keyboard wont turn on except for when its dark. But in my opinion its not worth it unless you really need it because its saves your battery life.
Are you stating that the keyboard SHOULD be lit everytime I slide it open? Because mine isn't, and I have no idea if it did with the stock rom or not, I just want it one verytime I slide it open is all.

I dont know where it is in the ROM you are using, but im on the stock ROM and for me its in: Settings -> Display Settings -> Brightness -> Check the "Automatic brightness" box
Found and tried that. I think thats only for the display, it seems to have no bearing on the keyboard backlighting.
