keyboard/dialogue box issue

frequently I get issues when typing in certain dialogue boxes on forums for eg like the one I'm using to write this, what happens is when typing the characters go mad I'll get constant ssssssssssssssss's or partial words/sections of a sentance I've just typed jumbled in one long word 3, 4 lines long either at the end of what I've typed or the beginning, pressing delete only repeats the process, its pretty random and desktop or android mode.

I'm guessing its a Google kb problem as it happens in all browsers?

the bit at the bottom actually happened while I was writing the tread without the line breaks to sepertate it from the paragraph
sorry pressed underline by mistake tut, also navigating the cursor is 100 times more difficult than on my s3 (always has been) I have to tap to move I can't move the highlighted triangular part in a slide motion as I can on the s3?

Sounds like there might be an issue either with the keyboard or the touchscreen registering more touches than what are actually occurring.

I don't think its the screen as its pretty uniform what happens it will jump to beggining of my paragraph then when I press delete it goes back to the end and write gibberish like bellow as just happened on another site, I've also swapped kb's so its prob not that
can't show the gibbersih won't let me paste in here tut

If the predictive text is on and some of it's options apply you can easily get gobbledegook text.Change some of the settings and or try another keyboard.I use Smart Keyboard app :)

I had a similar problem with Siwftkey a long time back. Every time I would try to backspace it would start throwing in copies of previous things I had typed. I don't know what they did specifically, but Swiftkey put out an update, and the problem went away. I can't speak to your keyboard, because I don't use anything but Swiftkey, and haven't for years. I remember when I was having the problem, it was the WORST in Firefox. Didn't happen as often in the Stock browser, and was about 50/50 if I was using Dolphin.

Not sure that is at all helpful to you, other than point you to sending an email to the devs about it, or switching keyboards, which I know is not always something people want to do.

pretty much everything youve said describes it ill try swift key again see if it persists, but im guessing there a mutual cache folder or something thats not clearing properly which they all use if its its browser or kb not sure, maybe even web format itself in the dialogue boxes or something..

Update
Seems this the new swift keyboard has fixed it

Also any idea why the cursor on this tablet is always so unresponsive and pretty cumbersome compared to my s3?

It could have something to do with the ROM that is currently on it, as I noticed the device is rooted.

Otherwise it could just be a really touchy screen.
