Well, texting away and hit some key on the left that brought up some symbols, not the symbol box some other stuff. I closed the window then the keyboard froze. This is the 3rd time the phone froze so it is going back as soon as VM figures out why I can't get on the internet. Gave them an ultimatum today so we'll see.
