Help Keyboard icon in Notifications?

Whenever I am using the messaging app or any stock or non-stock email apps, the keyboard icon appears in my notification area. When I pull it down, it asked to SELECT INPUT METHOD. I already have keyboards selected at default. My keyboards all work fine and I can type without issue.

Any ideas how to stop the notification from appearing?

It's there for you, so that when you want to change the keyboard, you can do it while typing.

Ok, thanks. I didnt realize this was standard. Wasnt something my S2 had.

Other android devices, you would long press in a text input field to get to input options but not here
