Keyboard issues

I'm guessing this is a faulty keyboard but just wanted to check first.

On the normal keyboard, pressing t or v comes up with TV and c becomes enter.

An external keyboard is fine so assume it's the onboard one unless there is any special function keys I'm missing.

what chromebook do you have? and we are talking about a physical keyboard, correct?

Just waiting on finding the make and model, unfortunately it's my niece who is 150 miles away.

It's the keyboard on the chromebook which is playing up but an external usb keyboard is fine.

ok have you tried cleaning the keyboard? using something like this:

I'm not sure if they have don't have the Chromebook with me. All I can find out at the moment is that it's a Lenovo.

Wasn't sure if there was some funky function keys or something, it seems odd that c is working as enter and t and v acting as TV if it was dirt under the keys

Hmmm dirty keys can cause a lot of issues. Maybe try rebooting it. All else fails you can do a hard reset.

Ok thanks will get her to try. Think she said she had done a hard reset

If a reset does not work, then you will most likely need to take it in for repairs. A reset should rule out a software issue.
