Help keyboard Issues

ive downloaded some new keyboards for my HTC Magic but they wont work on the phone. it just says its active but i get the same default one everytime. what could i bee doing wrong.

Long press on any text box and then click on select input method. You should be able to select your new keyboards from there.

Turn you phone off and restart ... go to settings and check to see if there are options for using the keyboards .... select them ... restart again ... then try selecting a text box ... you may get a option to use the input type and keyboard style and if the option has a default check box select it first before selecting the keyboard ...

I use "Better Keyboard" what are you using ?
