Help Keyboard Issues...

hi all-
I downloaded "null keyboard" to block the stock keyboard while using my bluetooth external keyboard. It works so-so but I have also noticed that my stock keyboard has changed recently when bluetooth is not in use and I'm not sure if it's due to the app or if others have had the same problem. My stock keyboard will lose the box above the letters guessing your words and swype will not work regardless of "continuous input" and word guessing both being checked to ON. If I restart my tablet it will usually restore. This is a recent issue and I haven't been able to fully discover a connection between the issue and my app but just wanted to see if anyone else had keyboard issues with their Note 10.1.
Not a keyboard issue... But I'm also having occasional touch screen issues in which I cannot touch my bottom right menu occasionally.. Any insight into that would also be appreciated!
Really wondering if others have had these issues bc I bought my tablet refurbished and was wondering if I should return it.
Thanks!

What if you disable the "null keyboard", what about then - does it work right? I have no idea how the "null keyboard" works, i use Extrenal Keyboard Helper Pro myself.

Maybe this will explain it(?): "NOTE: Samsung galaxy tabs running the latest android have an issue where the keyboard is frequently switched back to the on-screen keyboard. As far as I can tell, a fix for this needs to come from samsung, not from me. Even if it's something I can fix on my end, without a tab to test on, there's no way I'm going to be able to figure out what it is." (from the developer in GooglePlay)

thanks for the reply! The keyboard goes back to as described above every time i disable the app and will not pop up at all when bluetooth is turned off with the null turned on (even though it consistently pops up when the bluetooth keyboard is on and null turned on...go figure! i think this is def. a compatibility issue with the app...i will search for the app you mentioned! thanks again

It's not compatibility, it's a design problem of the app. It is designed to work ONLY with external keyboards and when they are present, it does not revert back to software keyboard, plain and simple.

You would think that if they allowed the ability to add an external keyboard, then it should automatically disable the internal pop-up without the use of a secondary app to block it.

Go figure.....
