Help Keyboard Problem

I've recently been experiencing a quite annoying problem with the Android keyboard on my SGII. Basically the buttons only register to me pressing them about half the time, the space bar has the biggest issue. It's as if the screen just isn't sensing my presses, but I only notice it when using the keyboard. I do have a screen protector, but before removing it and having to buy a new one I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem?

Can't really help you there, don't use the Android keyboard that much, just Swype..but I haven't had any issues with it when I used it

is it possible that you're using the swype keyboard, while trying to type normally?

the swype also types normally.

I have problem when I hold the phone vertically , the bottom row of keys zxcvbnm etc sometimes will spacebar or period , but I think its cause of my big fingers. I don't have the problem when I am in landscape mode. But also for me the voice to text works awesome .
