keyboard problems

hey everyone ..just picked up this phone yest at metro. been having a issue with the keyboard, seems like the screen is super sensitive best way to describe It. anyone having a issue with more then average keyboard errors ?
 
on a side note with the screen being really sensitive I notice it in web browsing also , constantly opening pages that I didn't mean to .
 
I've been messing with this issue for 3 days now . The weird thing is the keyboard types fine in other apps. It seems to be only while in my texting app .. I use Google messenger but I switched back to stock message app and still does it . Anyone else noticing a issue with texting and keyboard lag ? It gets to point were I can barely type anything .
 
Yes and it was like this the min it came out the box .. found someone on another forum experiencing same issue so at least it just isn't me lol
 
I think it might not be the case now either . Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if it's a defect. Idk if I want to return it though because it doesn't always act up and with metro you have to prove it its defective in person and thats a headache with metro. They're dicks
 
I'm having the same issue. What's worse is this is my second zte zmax pro from MetroPCS. The first one wouldn't open any apps, this one has the keyboard issues. If you put it flat on a surface to text or send to work best. Can this be a calibration issue?
 
Use hangout for SMS. The keyboard is very buggy in the stock SMS application. And the super sensitivity only seems to show up when the phone is quite warm and is charging. At least for me..

Yes but os (rom) doesn't have those options available we need root to unblock those functions like dual wifi band, themes, multi users, video calls etc.etc...
 
I have a similar issue and the problem I found is with the touch screen. I used a couple of touch screen test apps and my phone kept failing. I would restart the phone and it stopped for about 2 weeks then started acting up again. I restarted the phone again and have had no problems for about a week now.
