Keyboard switching app

I had an idea today while using the EVO 4G. I hate using swype in landscape but i cannot stand using the standard peck the keys Android keyboard in portrait. Is there any way an app could be devloped to switch the apps with the orientation?

Hi,

I really like the idea... I'll try and have a look at it. but i must say, i only make apps for when i'm bored but will try and see if I can actually make this app.
