hi
I've tried a number of different keyboards (eg 'Better Keyboard') which have
a 'transparency' setting. Unfortunately, none of them turns out to be really transparent over an application. When the keyboard pops up, the application (eg text on a text pad) is occluded by a white or black plane (the size of the keyboard), and the keyboard displays on top of that. Changing the transparency then only makes the keyboard appear more or less black or white. The application beneath is not shown through. It does work when the keyboard is popped up over the home screen. One can see the home screen icons shown through the keys. Any ideas on this? I'm using a galaxy i9000 and android 2.1....
