Help Keyboard, type volume low

[thetingster]

Is there a hidden setting somewhere to make the type "click" louder? I have ICS on my phone and the typing sound can be quite loud if I turn it up but on the N7 with JB with all the volumes in settings maxed out I still can barely hear the "click" as I type. I am currently running naked so I don't have a case covering the speaker. Just wondering.

Is media loud? I'm wondering if you have a defective speaker

Its fairly loud. It also appears that the type volume is connect to media volume. I don't really like that idea.
