Help Keyboards

So I've had my OneV for about 24 hours. So far, I love the phone, I've gotten the few kinks (some technical, some personal) worked out. My only problem is that when I installed SwiftKey 3, it seemed to lag a bit. Internet, Messaging, whatever, it always took like a second or two for the keyboard to pop up. The stock keyboard doesn't have that problem though. I'm really picky about my phone running smooth and fast, so that extra second bothered me.

Anybody using alternate keyboards that seem to work well? I love SwiftKey but I'll try others.

Is the Swipe beta still working? The last time I tried to install it on my Op V it kept giving me network errors. That's why I switched to SwiftKey.

Thumbs Keyboard works great. I use it on my tablet and it works fine on the One V too. No lag and very customizable.

Actually, I just installed a new beta installer from their website and it gave me an updated version of swipe that is much improved in general use but still has a couple bugs. Overall I give it a thumbs up.

I'm confused -- doesn't the One V have Swype pre-installed? It says so on the Virgin website:

Mine didn't have swype installed. Might be a mistake on their part.

Actually, I just installed a new beta installer from their website and it gave me an updated version of swipe that is much improved in general use but still has a couple bugs. Overall I give it a thumbs up.

Ok, I just got the new installer. Haven't run into bugs yet, so far it's working really well. Thanks.

Swype isn't installed by HTC but the carrier. My unbranded int'l version didn't come with it either.
