Keying/typing/textingor twittering?

Hi I just got a tablet and find that I need to learn another language. Computerese is hard enough now I have to learn how to type on a mini keyboard. Long nails dont help! What do people with large fingers do? And where do I find typing aids? Is this just wishful thinking of an old woman? Later...
