keypad not showing

hi,
i am using htc sensation(3.6) with android version 4.0.3
the problem is that my keypad is not active ...
i have to install keypad app put to open the google play store i have to connect to wifi which require password.since, my keypad is not showing so i cant type any thing
whats the remedy ???

Connect to the play store with a computer https://play.google.com/store and install the keyboard. (If you have more than one device on that account, after you click the Install button, make sure it's sending it to the right device). It'll install just as if you went to the play store with the phone. (I usually install my apps using a laptop.)
