Kies 3 not syncing with Note 3

NEW , bought 11/10/13, Galaxy Note 3: was told no problem to Sync Outlook via Kies...
Okay did it all used Kies 3 and all my PC info transferred great...BUT
if I add a contact to outlook now or to Note 3 it does not sync...There is no sync option just backup again....THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM!!!!

I need to be able to sync and sync easily...

Currently I get a firmware notice on the screen "Your device's current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via Kies."

OKAY.....Samsung what is the DEAL???

Anyone know how to navigate this?
I read strings to use the Beta, but not sure if that will sync contacts and calendar my two most important tools!!!

Since the phone is running the latest firmware, I think Samsung has a bit of a problem. (I get the same notice, but Kies still works fine.) It's a fairly new phone. Wait until the kinks fall out.

They'd better get this straightened out fast or this phone is going to landfill. Any phone that won't sync to Outlook is worthless.
