Kies air server

[Android Question]

i am using a macbook pro and have an S4. i was able to sync with kies air last night however when i try to go to the webpage of kies air using safari it says that it cannot connect to the server. any suggestions?

i have also just downloaded kies 3.0 on my macbook pro but when i try to open it the only option that appears is to uninstall it. appreciate any comments on this.

Are you sure you're putting in the port number at the end of the URL? It should end in :8080 (the colon is needed).

It's a nice idea, but, even though I was able to connect with Firefox, the app running on the phone didn't give me any pin to enter in the PC.

Evidently you had something installed on the Mac that looks like Kies. Uninstall it. Run it again and it should allow you to install it.
