Help kies and XP

I cannot get kies to work on my windows 7 64bit pc or laptop, has anyone had problems using windows XP or Vista ?

I can't get Kies (via settings) to work with my xp either, so I have to use Kies Air, works both connected or via wifi. It was in my app drawer. If you didn't get that bloatware try downloading it from the market

thanks, i am downloading it for Visata now and if that fails will try the wife's XP netbook.

Kies is working on my old Vista laptop but it is showing no option for the firmware update., i was under the impression that if you use Kies you don't have to wait for the OTA notification.

Great news, the Android 4.1 JellyBean update will be made available for Samsung Galaxy S3 handsets purchased from Vodafone on Monday.

The update will be a staggered release, meaning customers will be notified in batches that it’s available for over the air download over the course of several days.

If you choose to download it over the air, we’d recommend using WiFi as the file size is substantial.

Alternatively, if you’d like to update without waiting for the over the air prompt, connect your phone to your PC with Samsung Kies and you’ll be able to update once it’s available on Monday.
