Help Kies Connecting

Hey guys. I bought a Galaxy S3 today and, like many other people, have had difficulty getting it to connect to Kies. Right now though Windows 7 says all the drivers were properly installed when I plug the phone into my computer via USB and try to connect to Kies, Kies just says connecting over and over. I did a factory reset on the device and skipped all of the Google crap and other offers, but with no luck. I've been googleing this problem for hours and haven't found a solution that's worked yet, so if anyone has some advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

For the first time I am connecting my S3 to my computer, it takes me 2 restarts of the computer and 2 restarts of the phone then it detects it then everytime is super fast to detect.

after the 1st time u plug in ur phone, provided that KIES IS installed on ur computer, it will install the drivers but KIES would not detect the phone, restart the computer and the phone and try again, if it doesnt work, restart both again it should work the 2nd time
