Kies doesnt work with Note 2 & Verizon????

I switched from the note 2 from Sprint to the note 2 with Verizon. I usually have everything backed up on my old phone no problem but I am reading that Verizon Note 2 is not supported by Kies?!?! WHYYYYY????

Is there anyway around of adding my backup from Kies to my new note 2 for Verizon?? I tried Kies lite where the wireless hooked up to my PC but that doesnt work..

Install Kies 3. After a while it will let you know that the connection failed. Leave the device connected and go to the menu bar and select tools, reinstall device drivers. It will reinstall and it should work fine from there.
