Help Kies firmware update fails with ErrorCode 5

My phone is a ACE 2 GT-i8160 Sim free and un-rooted.
I picked this phone as it was to be upgraded to Jellybean.
PC is Win 7 Pro 64bit

Kies reports there is an update,
Current firmware version : PDA:LK7 / PHONE:LK7 / CSC:LK7 (BTU)
Latest firmware version : PDA:MF1 / PHONE:MF1 / CSC:MF1 (BTU)

Start update following instructions, reports=

Preparing firmware upgrade components, then a NOTICE window,

ErrorCode=5, ErrorMessage= The operation Completed Successfully
Clear that window and it then re-starts the upgrade.

Same result on a Notebook Win7 Home 32bit

Try that link for recovery help. I found it from a google search. Kies is usually good with recovery after a failed upgrade.

As to why you're getting the error i've no idea as any updates I've flashed through Kies have worked flawlessly.

SOLVED, turned out to be ZONE ALARM!
I had to uninstall it, do the upgrade OK, reinstall ZA.

I Have the same problem
Error Code=5 Error Message=The operation completed successfully.
but I don't have zone alarm I have " LOOKOUT "
I uninstalled it but still getting the same error
any help will be appreciated.

change your internet ip address
i did it with hot spot sheild
