Help Kies JM1 upgrade

Hmm, i have not seen that update, but it might be a week since i tried to update it last time.

Guess i'll try it when i come home.


For the record, i'm from Norway. Lets see if this sucker pops up at any of our kies's.

With my Spica this was very location-based. So it might only be for some countries.
 
I suspect it is different by region. The Spica/Portal was a nightmare!

I guess I'm most interested in anyone from the UK who's got their Galaxy from one of the major networks...
 
I got my sgs in uk, unlocked from cpw... and there is an upgrade on kies... its downloading right now...



just after succesful upgrade... not many changes except new app... task manager
 
I've got mine here in Italy but i think it comes from UK. I updated last week.

Firmware version: 2.1-update 1
Base band version: I9000xxjm1
Kernel version: umts_scm@S1-BUILD 2
 
oh crap.

Do you have to try it a million times before it works? Like it was with the spica?

I cannot get this sucker to update.


Anything new with this firmware except "task manager"?
Any GPS-fixes?
