Help Kies not connected with outlook

In the last days kies (2.5.3.13043_14) cannot synch with outlook.
In the synch menu, personal information, in the option synch contacts with .... outlook not appears. Only Google, Yahoo and windows contacts.

Also in the last days, when i start kies i receive a mesage that new components need update, i try to update and the kies is freezing.
I have re install kies several times with no result.

I had a lot of problems with Kies when I tried to get it to sync my Note 1 with Outlook, do backups etc some 15 months ago.

The only way I could get Kies to work was to un-install it, do a complete clean out of all the detritus it left on the PC and then re-install it. Kies was installed on D: drive but after the uninstall there were numerous folders/files left on C:drive as well as on D:. After manually removing those, I ran CCleaner to remove installation files from the Temp folders etc as well as the redundant registry entries. I then used regedit to backup the registry before manually searching for and manually removing any other leftovers. Clearly, manually changing the registry is rather risky thing to do. However, after I re-installed Kies it worked in so far as it actually synced with Outlook etc.

There were other problems with Kies as well so I started using MyPhoneExploer to sync with Outlook. It has worked almost perfectly ever since I first installed it and I now only use Kies to back up ‘Account information and Settings’ and firmware upgrades.

MyPhoneExplorer does much more than syncing Calendar and Contacts though and you can check its many features at either Google Play or at FJ Software Development

PS I forgot to mentioned that I restarted the PC after uninstalling Kies (and its drivers), after the clean up and after re-installing Kies. That part of the process was at the advice of Samsung's 2nd (or 3rd!) line of support.
 
Yeah, KIES its flaky at best. I only use it to nab apk files from the Samsung store and to transfer S Notes between my Notes. As well as making backups of it. That's about it.

I also use MyPhoneExplorer. But mainly to backup my call logs and messages. Good alternative free solution.
 
I have try to re instal outlook, nothing same problem.

I have install MyphoneExplorer. It has communication problem during the update of the calendar.

MyphoneExplorer is working with some problems now, the thing is why Kies is not working with outlook
When Kies start a message appears that some components have to be updated. If start the procedure the update is freeze.

Assuming that you can somehow sort out Kies, have you checked the following tick box within Outlook at

'Tools / Options / Other / Make Outlook the default program for E-mail etc '

Yes that option was checked. It was working very well till 10 days ago.
I thing the problems start after the first message to update the Kies
