Kies does not detect the firmware information when I connect my Samsung Galaxy S3. It seems to detect everything and all the data but the firmware doesn't show and, therefore, it is impossible to update or to check if any update is available.
It was working fine last time I checked, a couple of weeks ago or so - in the meantime I received firmware updates from my carrier directly on the phone and also Kies was updated.
I add that I may have received firmware updates while I was on a trip in Moscow - I am not completely sure if it was during that trip but I wonder if I received anything from a carrier while on roaming and therefore everything is upset now.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue?
