Help KIES not recognising device

Has anyone had issues with KIES recognising thier Samsung Dart/SGH-T499??

I just purchased a new phone in Canada, installed the relevant Kies (downloaded direct from product page on Samsung's site), and I keep getting this message:

"device not supported by kies 2.0"

I'm running Windows vista, specific phone model in Samsung SGH-T499Y

Can any one help, please??? Driving me crazy!

I also couldn't connect to Kies with the SGH-T499y, wondering if anyone else has encountered this?

Hey, that Kies is a joke. It wouldn't recognize my Samsung Dart or my Samsung T528g....

It is not supported in the current, might be sometime in the future, but don't count on it.

Edit: Kies does work with the Dart, the main thing that you have to do is to enable USB Debugging. USB Debugging should only be turned on when you need it. On your phone: Settings>Applications>Developement>USB Debugging(check the box).
