Kies not recognizing my Samsung device

Hi everybody. Using the word newbie may sound so windowish, but I could not think of anything else. Yes, I am a newbie to android. Presently I have a Samsung dual sim GT-S6102 using android 2.3.6 my hopes of graduating to a galaxy tab would depend on how I develop my relationship with my present small phone. 😊 as it is, it seems to be quite stormy. Kids is not recognizing the device and when I connect to USB it only starts charging😡

Welcome to the community. Sorry to hear that you're having problems with your device. I've read so many posts on Kies issues - hopefully you'll find help on here.

The best place to seek help will be inside your device's area of support. Good luck. :)
