Help Kies not supporting firmware

Hi everyone,
I have a new note 8.0 N5110) with JB 4.1.2 installed with no carrier. I just updated Kies and when I connect the note 8.0 to PC, Kies gives me the following message:
"Your device's current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via Kies"
● current firmware version: PDA:MC9 / PHONE:MC9 / CSC:MC4 (XSA)
N.B.: XSA means version for Australia.
I did not root the device, and I didn't update it with any other way.
My device's build number is: JZO54K.N5110XXBMC9

Any ideas?

I get this message with all my Notes. Mainly have to use OTA to look up updates. KIES is also not very reliable in either case.

Not sure if it's just a standard message saying there's no update. Or whether it's locked to OTA updates.

Also when you connect your device to your PC you do NOT have to use Kies for anything if you don't want to. If/when there is an update it'll push to your device over the air (OTA). Again, no real need for Kies.

Thanks guys, I also feel it is just a message saying that there is no update available anyway, but in a weird way!
