So, Kies doesn't seem to be the disaster for me that it is for some people, but it's certainly behaving a little bizarrely, duplicating some contacts etc, and seemingly affecting my cmputer's performance. So, I ahve a couple of questions...
Is it possible to get a report on what has been sunced and how after syncing contacts via usb?
Every other phone I've had in the past has had this as part of the sync software, but I can't find it on Kies.
Given that I don't entirely trust it not to screw up my contacts, it's pretty essential!
Secondly, if I do decide Kies is not worth the bother, what alternatives are there out there?
Note that this is for syncing contacts and calendar with locally held outlook pst files, via usb - ie these are my personal contacts and calendar, which I like to be able to see and edit on my desktop, as well as having on my phone.
My work calendar and contacts are syncing nicely already from our exchange server via activesync.
