Hi, When i open Kies A popup says update available, Version 2.3.2 12064_9 so i click to update,when the update finishes the same popup comes back with the same update available text, this goes on and on with the old version remaining.. It wont let me install the new phone firmware until i have the new Kies Version..!!!!!

Same here! I'm thinking of downloading from here Download Samsung Kies 2.3.2.12064_9_7 free - Samsung Kies is an easy-to-use, one-step program that makes managing multiple mobile devic - Soft32Download.com but not sure if I need to uninstall 12054 firstor not.

I've used the above link. I had to use the manual download. It 'updated' kies and uninstalled the earlier version itself. When it started, it was the 12064 kies and it did say that new firmware was available for my mobile. I am currently about 30% through that S3 upgrade so, so far so good!

At last. All OK! My v. slow broadband doesn't help but I now have the latest firmware on my s3 as described here;

Samsung Galaxy S3 - Firmware update I9300XXLFB - YouTube

OTA would probably have been faster but that disappeared after the original notification that an update was available!
