Kii Keyboard using data?

Looked at my data usage and it says in the last week Kii Keyboard has used almost 16 MB. Is that normal? Should I uninstall?

Has anyone else encountered this? Is this a known issue?

I like that keyboard but not if it's eating data.

Also, after some further checking it is using 2-3% battery according to Android Assistant.

Thoughts?

Maybe when it was downloading dictionaries? I only briefly used Kii before switching back to Swiftkey, and eventually to TouchPal (which is my current and, so far, favourite).

I looked back further and it used a total of 70MB this month WiFi and 4g combined. That seems like a lot for a dictionary update.

Might be time for a change.

I liked this keyboard because you could adjust the size of the buttons.

Yeah, that doesn't sound right. I stopped using Kii because I didn't see a way to configure the predictive text, and it would get the word I was typing wrong about half the time. Swiftkey was always great in that regard, and TouchPal has been pretty good, too.

I wasn't a huge fan of Swiftkey, I found the keyboard to be too small. Agreed that the he predictive text was so-so. I'm trying TouchPal based on your referral.
