kinda miss my iphone for games

The main reason I went from the iPhone to the galaxy s2 was for the free music and having flash players to watch more videos on websites. But I do play lots of games and the galaxy s2 stinks for that. Can't even play Madden 12. Then my friend gets the galaxy s 2 skyrocket a month later and can play tons more games including Madden 12. Now I am stuck with this thing 1.5 more years. Maybe the galaxy s2 will get a software update to be able to play these games? Hope so....

what is the problem? battery life?

Battery life isnt that great either. I'm on my 3rd galaxy s2 in 2 1/2 months. First one lasted 2 days. Kept over heating bad. Just got my new phone this morning. The last one wouldn't charge. Warranty store said I got another defective phone. Geesh. Wish I woulda waited for the g3 or just got the new iPhone. Not a believer in the Droid line so far. The iPhone is way more user friendly too.

boxed version of android isn't better than boxed version of iphone.. but after you install a custom ROM, it's definitely better (at least for me).

Sounds like you're just one of those people that gets lemons for whatever reason.

As for me, I'm amazed anyone wouldn't be impressed with this phones gaming ability...

When they were selling Gameloft games for .99, I bought everything they had. If that can't make a gamer happy, I don't know how to respond. Better luck with the iSheeple.

I can understand your frustration with not being able to play certain games because they aren't available for this phone. But I wouldn't give up hope, keep emailing the developers telling them you are interested in the game and you have money to spend.

Since you are interested in Madden have you tried out Gameloft's version NFL Pro 2012, might fill your need for a football game.

The SGS2 is a great gaming machine, it runs everything I have thrown at it buttery smooth.

gaming on a 3.5" is a no go for me iphone. i find it strange that there isn't wide scale support for the GS2, since it's the best selling android phone.

it plays every game i want it to... but then again im not a big gamer.
