Kindle files

Hi, sorry to ask a simple question but have just started playing with my asus transformer.
I have purchased a book from Kindle-amazon. I can read it via kindle NP.
My question is where is this file stored.
I have looked in all the obvious places in filemanager but basically cant find anything. Would like to physically see the file somewhere so i can com to grips with these new ext.'s etc..

It is honestly better to just let the app handle it.

Amazon files are usually AZW extension files. But if you move them or do anything to them, they probably won't work anymore.

Amazon Kindle is designed to be a hands-off app. You could live your whole life and never have to look at those files or know they have AZW extensions :)
 
Yes I understand that..and agree with you but in this case i was playing around and found that a few other books i have are listed in the filemanager, just not the one i purchased so was really curious thats all. Would still like to know where it is.

Look at the SD card /Android/data/com.amazon.kindle/files/... :)
