Help Kindle fire hd 6! Can it be rooted?

Hi,
Just treated ourselves to a kindle fire hd 6. My mum has had one for a year or so and I managed to root hers. Been looking for information on rooting ours, but not having much luck athe moment which ssys to me it probably can't be done, but though someone more in the know might have an idea.
The fire is on firmware 4.5.1 and presume there's no way to roll it back.

Hi, I was wondering about this, as well. I see that the Fire HD 6 has been going on sale frequently at Amazon. It might be worth it, if it can be rooted, and supports the same custom roms as the HD 7.
