Root Kingo, ADB, and USB Debugging

Had to flash recover my LGMS769. Attempted to root the phone using Kingo. Detected my phone but installation failed saying "need ADB". Phone is being recognized by PC but I cannot enable USB Debugging for some reason...which may or may not be part of the problem with Kingo install. Please help if u can.

the usb cable cannot be plugged in when enabling the usb function.
